When Azzy and Kez first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was thrilled – not only were they planning the most fun fusion wedding at one of my fave Digbeth venues, The Old Library. They are also completely wonderful humans who I still chat with today (mainly with Azzy about Grey’s Anatomy or her sending me hilarious cat reels).

Read MoreI knew when I met Becky and Jack that their wedding was going to be absolutely marvellous and it was an absolute delight to be immersed in their world of love, laughter, and vibrant colours. When describing their wedding memories in three words? Wonderful, fun, joyful. Those words perfectly describe the day as I remember it.
Read MoreThe wonderful Jenny and Alex are getting married at the quirky and dog friendly wedding venue Walcot Hall in Shropshire this August so in advance (and to ease any camera facing nerves that they assured me they had I say naaaay) we met up with their cute Springer Spaniel Oscar for a little walk and take some couple photos along the way! And lots of throwing of a ball for Oscar, obviously.
Read MoreThey had me at Brewdog pub wedding with wings. One thing I love about my job is photographing groups of friends weddings, so when Jess and Blanche got in touch to tell me about their informal Brewdog pub wedding in Cardiff I was super happy as they are also good friends with one of my past couple’s - Amy and Matt! This was second lot of Amy and Matt’s friends weddings I got to photograph last year (and not the last).
Read MoreWhen Charlotte and Jack told me they wanted their wedding at the Bristol wedding venue the Mansion House to be relaxed and fun, I had no idea what was in store for me. I did not envision to be ending the night with a wonderful and perhaps slightly sloshed departure dance from the wonderful Charlotte who was having a little break with her pals in the Bridal Suite, nor did I expect dance floor pizza, disco ball heads or any of the break dancing and shoulder dancing.
Read MoreWhere do I start with summing up John and Rachel’s awesome fun wedding at Dulwich Chapel followed by their reception at Tanner Warehouse venue in Bermondsey in London. Actually, yes, yes I do! Cat’s! We bonded over cats during our video chat, and that’s also how I started the day, at their house in Peckham, fishing two gorgeous cats out of some very spiky and cobwebby bushes in their garden. Rachel and her bridesmaids were all glammed up so I took on the task of bringing the cats indoors before we headed off to the ceremony in Dulwich. A task I was very happy to take on of course. Love of cats and all.
Read More‘If you wannabee my lover you gotta get with my…’ Sorry couldn’t resist, what Spice Girls fan would?! This is how we ended the night at Chloë and Matt’s wedding at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, Chloe and her best friends standing where the spice girls once stood, dancing and singing. Which is also pretty similar to how we started the day too. I was recommended to Chloe and Matt by their friends Amy and Matt whose wedding I photographed in London the year before - i love seeing the same wedding guests at weddings, it’s so lovely to catch up and there’s something wonderful about getting to see circles of friends get married!
Read MoreDan and Lucan met in a night club in Birmingham when they were in their early 20’s and eight months after they moved in together Dan got down on one knee in their flat and proposed! They choose the Bond Weddings in Digbeth in Birmingham for their relaxed and fun wedding because they loved the industrial look and how cool the venue was. As we first got chatting they told me they were getting married on a bit of a budget so spending cutbacks caused them to transform their kitchen into their very own night club and I knew at that moment I was the photographer for them, who doesn’t love a kitchen dance party?!
Read MoreFun filled is one way to describe Candice and Lee’s absolutely mega festival themed wedding with a humanist ceremony (during a mega heatwave) at Berryfields Farm and Events. It was SUCH a hot day - literally everyone wanted to get in the lake (some folk may have even got very naked).
Read MoreWhen Siôn and Sarah first got in touch with me about their village hall wedding in Llansteffan in Wales, I was so thrilled – they were planning a relaxed and laid back wedding with a humanist ceremony, food catered by their amazing friends Stephanie Booth Catering (seriously amazing food might I add) and even all the natural wine anyone in the world could get from Wrights Food.

Read MoreSnap Photography Festival was one of those real life changing moments for me, not just in business but in life too. It’s been nearly two years since I attended my first Snap and I couldn’t imagine my life without it. It’s cheesy but so true, if there had been endless paths and I hadn’t ended up at Snap my life I know my life would be so different to today, like that time I quit my A Levels in History, English and Textiles because I wanted to go to Art School (hellllo big life choice that worked out so well).

Read MoreSheffield has always been my home away from home, since my cousin went to University there it’s always held a special place in my heart. When Hannah and Luke got in touch and told me their wedding reception was at 92 Burton Road I was so excited, it’s perfect urban venue for the fun and foodie wedding they had planned.
Read MoreNancy and Lusea got married in an amazing blank canvas warehouse venue called the Old Dairy in the heart of Hackney in London and it was one fun and colourful shindig. When they first got in touch and we discovered we had a mutual love of hamsters, tattoos and Disney we knew we were going to get on like a house on fire. With enough balloons worthy of a feature in Up, neon details and all of the inflatables I felt like I'd walked into my own personal wonderland.
